We Are Easy to Find

If you can find your way to Walker’s Line and Upper Middle Road, you are home free. From there you will see our signs, directing you into Tansley Woods Community Centre. The main doors are well marked.

You’ll Meet Friendly People

You can expect to be welcomed by warm and sincere people, each one of which has walked through those doors for the first time not too long ago themselves. Nothing formal... just a handshake and a friendly smile. Who knows…you may meet a neighbour, a co-worker, or a friend.

We Have Great Food

Don’t rush through your breakfast, so you can make it on time. Come a few minutes early, and plan to have breakfast on us. We serve fresh, hot coffee and an assortment of yummy breakfast treats.

We Start and End on Time

We start at 10 and we end at 11:15 am. If you're there on time we won’t make you wait for those who aren’t. If you show up late, just join us in progress…we’re pretty laid back. If you’ve got lunch plans, we’ll make sure you’re out on time to keep them.

Contemporary Music

We don’t own an organ or a piano. We don’t sing out of outdated song books. We won’t even make you sing. You’re welcome to just listen. We sing primarily new songs, with the occasional classic from the past. Don’t worry about knowing the words, because they're all up on a screen.

A Relevant Message

Pastor Ray won’t use big, fancy words. He won’t talk about stuff that has no bearing on life today. Every talk will have simple and very practical applications for living life Monday through Saturday (you can even take notes if you like). The Bible is relevant for life in the 21st century, so we will present it that way.

No Pressure to Give

We are not after your money. If you are visiting for the first time leave your wallet at home. We do consider ‘giving’ an act of worship and so we invite those you have made The Sanctuary their home to follow God’s command of giving cheerfully and generously. 

Kids That Won’t Mind Coming Back

Children are very important to us. We want them to be safe, we want them to learn, and we want them to have so much fun they’ll want to come back. KidZone includes a nursery, a preschool and an Elementary Educational and Fun Experience weekly. (Grades 1 to 6).

We’ll Give You Whatever Information You Want

We will not bombard you with information, but we do want to ensure that any questions you may have are answered. Choosing a church is difficult. We won’t try to hide anything. We have information tables to answer many of your questions, or our staff would be happy to answer them in person.

We Care What You Think

This is not a church for a selected group. This is a church for you. We want to know what you liked or didn’t like. We won’t demand your feedback, or single you out in any way, but everyone who comes will have the opportunity to fill out a feedback card, and submit it anonymously.
